Akon‘s new album, Konvicted, is released on November 14 and seems to be a great follow-up to his highly successful debut album, Trouble, in 2004. It is clear that this 25 year old artist is extremely talented without even listening to his music; he is a successful singer, songwriter and producer who has overcome a lot in his life. He has been in jail many times in his life, most notably for a 3-year stint for grand theft auto. It seems like his life of crime is over now as he has got into music in a serious way and is even planning on releasing a film in 2007 about his life, titled “Money, Power, Respect: A Hustler’s Dream”.
